Rigger Level I Certification
CSI’s Rigger Level I Certification Program is designed to give our students a solid grasp of basic rigging inspection and use. We offer a one (1) day program that covers the most current OSHA and ANSI codes, and teach the requirements for:
- Inspection and documentation requirements
- Factors affecting sling capacity
- Sling types and hitches
- Hardware and its use
- Crane Dynamics
- C of G and off center loads
- knots used in rigging
Along with our instructional class, the candidate will practice different hitches to rig loads. At completion of our training program, students will complete a Practical Exam with our instructor and a Computer Based (CBT) Written Exam will be scheduled with NCCCO.
